Elder Aubrey and Elder Bunnell are going to be doubling in to Sturgeon Bay which I think is crazy. I am actually kind of sad that Elder Aubrey isn't going to be in my zone haha.
The Peterson's sent me a tie, and a letter in their package. It was a purple paisley tie, and it's pretty nice!
Everything is going pretty well here in Sun Prairie. Our district is getting 2 new missionaries, Elder Leben and Elder Richards, so that should be exciting. We have 6 missionaries in our district, and we even meet in Sun Prairie which is really nice!
That's pretty crazy what you were thinking about for W, because we've been meeting w/her on and off just depending on if she has time, but the thought came to my mind the best thing for her would be for us to drop her. Not necessarily forget about her, but just drop her, and give her time to think things over.
Brad and Michael went to the Packer's game this past Sunday, so they weren't able to attend church w/us, but we're staying engaged w/them. Michael has really opened up, and has soaked everything in very well, but we're still looking for inspiration on what we can teach them to fully help them to progress.
Y has withered a little bit, because he has been sick. We haven't been able to teach him for almost 2 or maybe even 3 weeks it seems like. Once he gets over his sickness we're planning on getting him rolling to baptism by hopefully December 29.
Sarah is doing great! She came to church yesterday, and she really enjoyed it. Our lesson in Gospel Principles was about the Word of Wisdom, which she really agreed with. Not only did she agree w/it, but she's already living it. She has been fellowshipped really well by the ward, and she seems to be very happy. She sent us a text yesterday saying, "Thank you both (elders) for what you do :)" That was really touching! We have an appointment w/her tonight w/her fellowship family!
We're also working w/a guy named Viwe. He's a black guy, and is very humble. We met Viwe while tracting, and he was busy, but invited us back. He dodged our first follow-up visit, but we kept him in mind. The other day we had just finished dinner, and it was about 8 o'clock. We weren't quite sure what to do since it was so late, but we felt impressed to go to Viwe's. He let us right in and told us that he was hoping we'd come back. We taught him about our purpose on Earth, and the importance of baptism. We set a date for December 29th w/him. We're now looking to find a member to work w/him as well.
It's looking like I'll have to Skype home around 3 or so, because w/Christmas being on a Tuesday we still have district meeting. I'll see what's going on though.
Everything is going well though. Thanks for all of the packages, I'm really not in need of anything, but I appreciate everything that you guys send.
18 And all saints who remember to keep and do these sayings, walking in obedience to the commandments, shall receive health in their navel and marrow to their bones;
19 And shall find wisdom and great treasures of knowledge, even hidden treasures;
20 And shall run and not be weary, and shall walk and not faint.
21 And I, the Lord, give unto them a promise, that the destroying angel shall pass by them, as the children of Israel, and not slay them. Amen.
When we think of the Word of Wisdom our thoughts of its blessings go immediately to the physical benefits that we can obtain. We also know that it's a commandment of God, and a more personal commandment between us and God. I have had some new light concerning the blessings of the Word of Wisdom.
In verse 19 we find that the Word of Wisdom will help us to find wisdom and great treasures of knowledge that are hidden. What are these treasures? In Elders quorum a brother stated that one of those hidden treasures is a temple recommend. This made a lot of sense to me. If we're not living the Word of Wisdom then we can't enter into the temple and find great knowledge given us there. I know this is true.

I'd like to leave a small thought concerning the Word of Wisdom. We didn't actually go over what I would like to share, but it impressed me a lot one day in Elders quorum. We know that the Word of Wisdom commands us to abstain from hot drinks (tea/coffee) and harmful addictive substances such as alcohol and tobacco. It also counsels us to eat meat sparingly, and to feast on the herbs of the field. In verses 18-21 we find the promised blessings that come from abiding by this "Word of Wisdom:"
18 And all saints who remember to keep and do these sayings, walking in obedience to the commandments, shall receive health in their navel and marrow to their bones;
19 And shall find wisdom and great treasures of knowledge, even hidden treasures;
20 And shall run and not be weary, and shall walk and not faint.
